Trouble Shooting Guide - XHD Series
Check the remote or manual settings to confirm the flame effect is enabled. If it is, try turning the unit off and back on. If the issue persists, consult Dimplex customer support.
Ensure the thermostat is set to a temperature above the current room temperature and that the heater isn’t in flame-only mode. Check if the vents are clear, as blocked vents can cause the unit to overheat and shut off the heater as a safety measure.
If you hear a rattling or humming, it could be due to loose parts or dust on the fan. Make sure to clean around the vents and check for loose screws. If noises persist, contact customer support.
